Older Izumi! I just had the idea for what she would look like older so I wanted to draw this before I finished my other drawing for Rin

Okay okay, so can you see her eyes? and those scars? cause Izumi cant yup, in the future my baby Izumi is blind
I dont really want to go into what happened just because Im still working out the details of it but basically it has to do with Akiras father and when they fight
She probably about 32 here? (if her twin sons are 12 and she has them at 20) that means shes been blind for 12 years too

I like the idea of her keeping her hair long, I just think it makes her look like her. I did wonder if I should cut it shorter as she got older, but I think I like it long ^^ and she keeps the silver gauntlets and bare feet!
I love her dress too, its just so pretty and I kept the blue colours similar to her sash that she currently wears, idk I just think she is so pretty ><
Also for people that are curious, I think she continues being the Kigakure seiya branch leader/representative, but is less involved since she is blind, and she doesnt become Tsurikage after her father (she would never have become that anyway but someone asked about that a while ago so I thought Id mention it) and Byakko continues to serve and watch over her -this time by Akiras request- and he doesnt wear his mask as often since she cant see him and for the extra sadness feels she still doesnt know he is her childhood friend until his death . . Im so cruel I cant help it! ;w;

I imagine Akira being the one taking the photo and constantly telling her she looks beautiful and kissing her eyes and aaaaah I dont know I just really ship them together and I have so many headcanons it makes me want to cry >3<

Anyway I hope you like her, this is just super simple and I might have over done the shading on the dress x3 but lemme know what you think and I shall continue to work on her blindness story so all of this will make sense since I only have a basic outline for what happens
