Description
So I am not 100% sure that I have the species of this bird right. The zoo does not have a list of the animals it has and I didn't take a picture of the sign :/ I won't know for sure until I go back. If you know what it is..please tell me.Related content

I don't believe this is an American Goldfinch. Female goldfinches don't have stripes on their heads, neither do males. Males just have a black patch.
I pretty sure this is some kind of sparrow.

Oh, I know, but I know that's not a female goldfinch. I live in the middle of the woods and see them at my bird feeders daily. Sparrows tend to have stripes on the their heads.
