Welllll Its Frank, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Leo, And Piper(And yes I think Annabeth is going to be the seventh.)

nice, but i don't think Annabeth's part of the seven, cuz she has a separate role to play.....if I remember clearly, the prophecy says 'Wisdom's daughter walks alone' 'the mark of Athena burns through Rome'. If she was one of the 7, why should she walk alone, shouldn't the 7 stick together, once they all meet? and in the Son of Neptune, when Frank and Hazel are talking to Thanatos, he does give a clue by saying "you need a special guide through Rome". I think Athena or Minerva or whatever leaves a trail for the 7 only Annabeth can see, like a blazing trail since it says 'burns through Rome', so yeah. Annabeth has a separate but very important role to play, so she can't be part of the seven.

I think it's going to be Nico who is the seventh because well.. he's the son of Hades and very powerful it would be wired if he's not one of the most powerful demigods out there - I mean his DAD is one of the great three ffs!

haha now that you mention it he kind of does XD and yeah it was really hard for me to do frank because hes supposed to look asian so i was torn between sticking the closest to how he should look and how i wanted him to look. Same with Jason, he's supposed to have shorter more military style hair so... XD

Just because the book is called "Mark of Athena" doesn't necessarily mean that Annabeth is the seventh. If she is, that will be very predictable of Rick Riordan, and I will be disappointed. I think that the book is called Mark of Athena because something is going to happen to Annabeth, and she will have to either A) Leave Camp Half-Blood/Camp Jupiter to solve some problem involving Athena's 'Mark', or B) Die to save the world. Either way, it has something to do with the latest prophecy given. (Ella FTW! )
But those are just my opinions. I still am hoping that Annabeth isn't the seventh though. I hope it's a child of some minor god/dess.

Thanks but honestly i dont think he will add any new characters this far into the series.
It would be an interesting twist but a lot of people will be really disappointed if its not her. And there have already been a lot of clues that she is going to be very important to the prophecy so i think it woulf just make sense for it to be her.

No, I agree with you there. It`s too far into the series to just create some random character to be the seventh, but it will probably be a minor character (or maybe not so minor) that has already been introduced.
And yes, I also agree with you there, Annabeth will no doubt be a huge part of the prophecy, but I just don't believe that she is one of the seven of said prophecy.

But it will make for some interesting conflict if Annabeth is not the seventh, and she has to go off alone, and Percy has to do these other things with the REAL seven. You are free to think what you want, don't get me wrong. I just don't want her to be the seventh, because that would be way too obvious.

theres no way RR would kill annabeth. she's too well liked. but the fact that she gets her own book kinda indicates that she might be the 7th hero.

Well, no, he wouldn't kill her permenantly (There's no way Aphrodite would lose her 'star couple'), but the Mark Of Athena might be something in Annabeth's blood, and that blood needs to be spilled in order for something to happen, I dunno. But taking the whole prophecy into account, I think a friend of mine states it really well.
"Okay, so in the Mark of Athena, I think that Annabeth will play a huge part in this. I mean, it's not like Rick to all of a sudden create a completely new character. I think that somehow, Annabeth causes trouble (she has a nasty temper!) and Percy's blinded by the love that he has for her. But Annabeth has to walk alone and Percy reluctantly lets her go. However, Annabeth discovers some secret about herself in the journey. Maybe something in her blood has the Mark. I think that Ella will somehow tie into this. Maybe Ella has the mark and she passes it to Annabeth? Anyways, since Annabeth has the mark in her blood, in order for the people to find the Doors of Death, Annabeth's blood has to be spilled, so that it can lead them to the Doors of Death. But that means that Percy has to kill her. Percy's struggling to make this decision so Frank steps in and shoots an arrow at Annabeth's heart, where the Mark's core is located. I don't think that Annabeth will die though, because Percy/Annabeth fans WILL NOT be happy about that. So maybe some godly force helps them. Most likely Aphrodite, because she LOVES love.
For some reason, whenever I think about the Mark of Athena, I think about the fire that Prometheus gave to the gods. I have a feeling that the fire will tie in somehow.
As for the seven in the prophecy, I don't think that last one will be Annabeth. She's way too obvious. Plus, I think having a book called THE MARK OF ATHENA is enough for her. She'll play a big part in the sidelines, most likely. I like Reyna and I want her to be the seventh member but that's probably not going to happen. I mean, she has to lead the camp. She'll play a big part, that's for sure. I think that maybe Nico, Thalia, or maybe a Roman camper will be the last prophecy member. Maybe Luke will come back from the dead and that will tie into Annabeth's destiny.
But, the possibilities are endless. Rick could put an elephant as the last member of the prophecy. That's unlikely though. I just wish that the book would come out already!"

i dont really agree with that. it isnt like rick to do something like that in his books. he doesnt have blood shed like that. ppl have died in his books but not like that. they are just gone. or in the case of Luke he dies willing to save Olympus but there isnt any real killing. and i cant see there being anyway that Rick would kill annabeth in any sort of way. remember these books are aimed at middle schoolers you dont put that kind of death into a middle school aged book. annabeth will definately have an important role if not as the 7th hero then as something along the lines of how important Rachel was in the last series. i cannot possibly see her dying; Rick would so not do that. but she will be important... very improtant. but we wont know anything at all until "The Heroes of Olympus: The Mark of Athena" comes out in October to November.
