I agree with you there, but like I said, if he kills her, it won't be permanently. It's like how Piper charmspoke Jason back to life after he saw Hera's real form. And it's not like he would go into extreme detail about how she died, because yes, this is a book for middle school kids, but it's also kind of like the Harry Potter books. As the series goes on, the readers are growing up and maturing, so he may be able to put some more mature content in there. But I'm not saying that he's going to be like, "Blood, guts, sex," and all that everywhere, but as I said, the readers are getting older, so he has a bit more freedom now with what he decides to put in the book.

but theres also new readers too. those who were too young to read it are now getting older can read it now so its not like he can go all out on it. i just cant see Rick Riordan killing off a character like Annabeth even if she did come back to life. its not his style. with Luke it was different Chronos had taken over his body and Luke became Chronos so the only way to defeat him was for Luke to die. but he didnt die until after Chronos had left is body. Rick isnt the type to kill off main characters like that and that have been in the books since the beginning it just not his style. annabeth has an important role but not one (in my opinion) that would include death for any short period of time. but like i said before the only one who really knows what will happen is Rick Riordan and we wont know what will happen until the book comes out in october. oh and something i learned today: they are making a sequel to PJATO: The Lightning Thief its the film adaptation of PJATO: The Sea of Monsters. filming starts Thursday of this week April 26th and the moive is to come out on March 27th 2013.

You have a lot of hate for Annabeth, thats too bad. Just because she has a temper doesn't mean she's going to do something bad. She loves her friends strongly and is very loyal to them, she would fight alongside them no matter what.

I don't hate Annabeth! Quite the opposite, actually. I just don't think that she is the seventh of the prophecy, and that Rick has other things in store for her. And I'm not saying that her temper is what's going to get her in trouble, either. I love Annabeth, and I know that she is a very loyal friend, I'm just saying that I think that some things are going to happen, and Annabeth will have to go off on her own to solve the problem. She's a great character and I absolutely don't hate her.

Not necessarily. If she is, that will be very predictable of Rick Riordan. I think that the book is called Mark of Athena because something is going to happen to Annabeth, and she will have to either A) Leave Camp Half-Blood/Camp Jupiter to solve some problem involving Athena's 'Mark', or B) Die to save the world. Either way, it has something to do with the latest prophecy given. (Ella FTW!
But those are just my opinions. I still am hoping that Annabeth isn't the seventh though. I hope it's a child of some minor god/dess.
