Vision is great. The idea isn't origianl, but it has that something. The bokeh is just about right and the background looks almost like a reflection rather than a dull, ordinary bunch of branches. The colours are definitely a great choice, they seem almost fiery, as if it was a fire rather than a branch. The snow however balances its strength out.
Technique needs some improvement. The photograph seems overexposed but that's not a big deal. What does matter is in fact sharpness - sharpen sharpen sharpen, probably try to contrast the main focus a little more. The framing is good and everything else too. I tried taking a photo like this and it's definitely not easy to make it look this good.

Mmm. Looks good. I like the way the dimmer branches look like colorful shadows behind the one branch being photographed. The top of the branch looks a bit like a jewel with all the ice droplets.

Although greatly gray and brown, the picture has a sort of feel to it. It indeed is like spring there.
