WE ALL KNOW THAT'S A LOAD OF SHIT.Well- I should explain, because I don't want to come off as a betch, well a bigger one. So, I'm getting annoyed at people's 'dolls' and not giving the original basemaker credit! Srsly, what the hell? It's basically stealing.
But, but. This does not apply to people who genuinely forget the base, then ask people to help them find it or go look for it themselves. People who have dolls that say in the description, "Srry i forgot the base, kkthxbai" Just don't want to give credit.
I'm just, so, so pissed with this matter! It's so annoying, it's fine if you forget the base, that's understandable, but you should hold up on posting until you find the base, or post it and then look for it!
Sorry 'bout the rant.
In a nutshell, I'm pissed off at people who use a base, then doll on it, then 'forget' the base. THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO GIVE CREDIT. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

I often find new dolls and then look in the description for the base, so I should probably just link them to this every time they don't put the base.

I forget the base a lot (More or so a long time ago) but I've searched for the bases sometimes. Some are gone and I can never find out who the base maker was

i used to just take bases and post them without saying anyone besides myself made it.
and then i realized that you're supposed to put a link to the base maker in it.
I HATE IT WHEN I SEE A GOOD BASE AND THEY'RE ALL LIKE "lol, i'll look for it when i feel like it, kinda lazy right now..."
i saw a base i really wanted to use.

i FINALLY found the base today after about 3 weeks of looking.

i would hate it if some one didn't post a link back to my base.

I see this problem a lot around here, and seriously...What's the problem with these people? It will only take a little time, and don't cost a thing to make the base maker happy

I've actually never thought of people forgetting on propose (but I don't doll too much anymore, and I didn't do it a lot when I did, so maybe I just didn't come across it as much)

I always-ALWAYS-have the base open in another tab. If my internet stops working/computer dies, I look for it again. Simple as that. because I know, since I used to make bases, how annoying it is.

that only happened to me once. It was because I had to transfer the pic from my fb page, to dA, then had to come home find the name of the base maker, link, and then reupload because the pic was jpeg.

I never post without scouring my favorites or the site for the original base. If I can't find it I don't post until I do. Now sometimes I do find it and just completely forget to post a link >W< But I always fix it. When I see a picture with one of my bases I've never seen I always click it and get irritated it says they forgot. But I politely ask for credit while mentally shouting "IT SAYS THE NAME OF THE BASE AND MY NAME IF YOU HAVE THAT BAD A MEMORY THEN JUST SAVE IT AS IT'S ORIGINALLY NAMED" That's what I do

I had a doll up here who i didn't know the base-maker was for the looongest time cause it was from WAY BACK WHEN and only had liek an "AC" on the base
and eventually the base-maker commented and was like LOL THATS MY BASE, SO OLD

I don't understand it myself why they do that if you fave someone base in your gallery and used it then when you doll on that base and post the doll in your gallery How did you forgot who the basemaker was when you know plain well that the base is save in your faves I think they just don't care to credit at all if it your first using a base I understand but if you been using more than one base now you need to be a shame of your self for not knowing who made the base you are using.

I hate when people allegedly forget the base maker and then act all "whatever" about. Durr hurr why did you even bother mentioning a base was involved in the first place, you obviously don't want to credit the person who made it. Whenever I see people do that it feels like they think that "forgetting" the base maker will make him/her disappear from history and existence and then their doll will magically be 100% their work.
