Presenting the colored version of my most-prized piece as to date, featuring the coolest (?) Hunter ever - Killua Zoldyck - from Togashi Yoshihiro's Hunter x Hunter. ♥

I had a lot of fun coloring Killua and though the color of his shirt is a bit off than the original (I inadvertently made his look pinkish), I think it still looks good on him. Killua's obviously the most fashionable Hunter x Hunter character and he changes into a variety of really nice clothes often. He's definitely a guy who can wear pink AND rock it. ^^

Anyway, I experimented with a different shading technique (cross-hatching), and I was really impressed with the outcome. It produces comparatively lighter shading but still grainy, and I like it! ^^

- Rant Starts -

I was supposed to upload this right after the black and white version, but Butako needed to use the laptop, so I just postponed it for the next day. But then, I wasn't able to upload this yesterday either because I keep getting the 'Aw, Snap!' notice in Chrome, and when I tried to use Firefox, it always crashes. Anyway, the problem got fixed last night... around 11 pm. Most unfortunately, the upload took forever! When it finally finished at 1:30 in the morning, that's the only time when deviantART notified me that it couldn't upload my deviation cause the file size is 133 mb, and it can only accommodate anything less than 80. Just my luck. So this morning, I re-scanned it and lowered the dpi and the file size was greatly reduced to 32 mb. Believe me, my scanner doesn't do justice to my physical artwork. No matter the quality, the scanned version doesn't even compare to the original.
