OHOHOHO!!!This is the first time I am uploading a fanart for the Leopika
Fandom... and yessss!!! I am a proud member of the said fandom
I got two simple rules on this fanart...
1. if you think Kurapica is a guy then this is a yaoi fanart
2. If you, after much convincing still thinks Kurapica is a girl ( like me ) then this is a straight pairing

I'm sick of those KuroroxKurapika & KilluaxKurapika things. Kurapika hates Kuroro, and never confess or teamed up with Killua. Killua is mostly with Gon.
Kurapika made many appearances next to Leorio. xD They started together by their fight.

they believe in KuroroxKurapica, you see kurapica spends ehem-HER-ehem life trying to find and kill the spiders not make out with their leader...
and yeah I've your points... though I said kura is a girl, i'd rather that kura remain genderless but I said amen to your every point! LOL

I think so too.
Of course err-SHE-err does. 
Though I truly say that Kurapika is a woman, I still keep using masculin forms (if I was wrong although the prooves). 
Episode 18 : Kurapika punched Leorio.
Episode 32 : Kurapika closed quickly his legs tightly. Why ? While they are MEN.
If you look closely at Leorio and Kurapika relation (as seen in the ending 2) we may say this is deep and true between them. I don't think the author likes or wants yaoi like this.
I think that if Kurapika was a man, he surely would be taller than he actually is (even taller than the triplets : Umori, Amori and Imori, with at least 11 cm more than 171 cm.

I think my fave leoxkura moment was when he called "her" phone when they are literally facing each other... aww... that was so sweet... and the way kura said his name there ... leorio *squeals*
episode 18 was also great, it was when they get to know each other... and the episode where kura found out that leo wants to be a doctor... kura gave him a very cheesy comment that "she" wished that he could become a doctor... and made leorio nervous!!! wahhhhh!!!

I love every Leopika moment. The 2nd ending made me crack up. And you're right ; the phone scene is damn cute !

What is the episode where Kurapika made Leorio nervous ? Looks like I missed a scene or did I sleep ?
If you get attention to Kurapika at some episodes, you could have concluded that Kurapika was jealous when Leorio was interested in another woman.
Episode 12 : at examiner door, Kurapika asked Leorio about Anita.
episode 32 : In the bus, Kurapika despised Leorio for being interested in Koko(-chan).

Did you check out Killua's expression in episode 29, on Leorio holding a blushing Kurapika. HAHAHAHAHAHA... In episode 62 (phone scene), he does the same. He knew there is something about Kurapika and Leorio.

I'm a leorio fangirl too (more of a kurapika fan though) When i first saw those two in the 2011 version in episode one, when they apologize to each other i suddenly loved the pairing...... I regret nothing

Actually... Togashi confirmed that Kurapika is a boy (yay, I don't think I would like a femKurapika!) in the manga, he's drawn without his shirt... and even though it's shounen, they would never draw a shirtless girl. xD Oh, and he has male hips.
Anyway, in the manga they use katakana to write his name, so the transcription would be "Kurapika". But in official art books, Togashi wrote his name "Curapikt" ^^

Flat chest != Male.
Women can be flat as a board their whole life, if their genetics tend towards that. An active lifestyle like Kurapika's would only contribute to that.
Besides, Togashi-sensei draws male torsos with a lot more definition than that ("that" = "no definition at all", if we're talking about he same pic), and the (non-cropped) version of that picture very clearly shows that Kurapika has a narrow waist and curvy hips.
