2010.06.22The 2nd vector illustration I’ve ever been able to finish. I’m satisfied with it despite using a webcam-resolution reference photo (pretty pathetic quality, unfortunately). Oh well. At least it got me off my tired/sleeping streak that I’ve had for the past 3 weeks. 176 layers, 9 hours in Adobe Illustrator.

Vectoring real people is usually pretty hard. The skin never seems to come out right. But you've pulled it off wonderfully!

Matching the skin color was very difficult, especially as I was making more shapes, I was always having to change colors of existing ones because they would seem warmer or cooler or an entirely different color later on.
