Awesome! What did you think?? I also love the book and was surprised that they included some of the things from the book so that was cool. At the same time it felt like a bit of a jumbled mess though haha.

I thought it was alright. A good movie, but I'm hoping that another made for TV version will come out again and explore the story more in-depth now that people can sit and binge for hours.. This version altered and changed the entire tone of the ending...(they ripped on King in the film for bad endings but imo he nailed It's ending, the director I felt wanted a a happier ending and gave us that (the random notes from Stan, the Losers never forgetting, ect). They really nailed Richie and Eddie though!

Right? It was so odd how there seemed to be some kind of inside joke that the ending in the book was bad but I loved it and that beautiful moment when Bill awakens his wife from Pennywise's trance through the Bicycle ride. Was kind of bummed I didn't get to see that on screen. I think making it into a series would actually be genius, as it's a very dense story that deserves more than a 2 film split.
