Wait...the woman look pretty but... Why are the ventral scale on her Back Oo ? This is so awkward as if she had her breast on her back

Cool image. I like how she is seated casually on top of her own coils. But I'm afraid I have to agree with the other commenters that the snake's belly scales running up her back does hurt the overall quality of the image.

This is an amazing shot! You did a fabulous job combining the woman with the snake body; the pose is beautiful and really brings out the feel of a snake. The unkept hair, the tanned skin... And that expression! She looks breathtakingly beautiful in that expression! Beautiful, beautiful job!

cool pic, just that the scales that you have on her back now, should be in front. so you need a different texture there...

she is a wonderful echidna; i love that you chose a stark white background. it really brings every detail- from color to light flecks forward. good job!

Remind of a ancient Chinese love story, about a 1000 year old white snake demon who grew powerful enough to have a mortal form. For a demon, she was actually very kind and good to the humans. Her sister (also a snake demon) and herself were physicians who tended to the poor, often without charge. The snake demon eventually fell in love with a scholar and they got married and started their own family. However, a monk, who was supposedly portrayed as evil in the story, realized that the physician was a snake demon, and tried to exorcise her many times, without success. Finally, through some questionable methods (which may involve kidnapping of her son and husband as leverage), he sealed her within a tower in the temples. Her husband, out of grief and loss of his wife, joined a monastery and cut off all relations to other people. He left his son was raised by his sister until one day he realized his mom was trapped within the tower, he killed the evil monk and rescued his mother.
Anyway, beautiful manipulation. It reminded of a fairytale of when I was younger.

This is a good manipulation, but the contrast of the snake and woman seem different. I can't help but noticing that the left part of the snake is slightly blurry, but I can't tell if it is just my screen or what. It could have to do with perspective as well; the closer parts appear more blurry to give focus to the things further back. And as for attaching the woman to the snake; for one, the belly scales should be on her belly as well, not the back. It would definitely work if she were turned around. And the fading of the scales to make it look like it is one looks awkward to me. Instead, it should simply stop at one point, but still have it look realistically attached, like having the scales overlapping the woman's skin at one point perhaps.
This is my take on it. I'm not very good will image manipulation myself, but I know what makes a good one and what makes a bad one. This is good, but if it weren't for what I pointed out, I would have liked it much better.

absolutely beautiful!!! love the transition from scales to flesh... beautifully done!!
only thing that is nagging at me is that the snakeskin on her backside is actually the belly scales of a snake...
(sorry if this was an unwanted critique, but im a snake owner/lover, so it just looks odd to me)

Maybe she's "Backwards" because the snake's excretory point is on it's belly... though also rather close to the end of the body. That's my best guess... Interesting concept and production!

Great work! only thing, shouldn the back-scales go onto her back? Really a nice piece, but that bothers me.

The belly scales on her back makes it look like she'd slither around on her back. Other than that, this is an awesome picture!

The left part of the snake is a bit out of the focus and looks a bit unnatural as well but otherwise it's great.
