(Though technically, since I live in Toronto and our EBgames received shipments early and broke street date, I had the game since Tuesday! I'm playing on Hard Classic. SO GOOD. SO MANY DEATHS/RESTARTS ALREADY! lol)
Artwork featuring Chrom, Lissa, Frederick, and Prax ("Robin"/Avatar Unit), the first four characters introduced in the game!
Even though I am not in love with the character designs used in this game (lot more fanservice than I would like), the artwork style itself is really nice and there are just so many options and breeding and tactical goodness involved that I cannot NOT enjoy it! *__* I hope this game does really well. The franchise really deserves more recognition and renown!
Colouring style inspired by the amazingly talented *Phobs ! Of course, I can't really compare to her magnificent style, but I tried hard to give it a multi-coloured pencil-crayoned look! Only the outlines were in pencil. All the colours were digitally done.

I can guarantee you that this game is awesomely enjoyable!
Same to you, I didn't like the artwork style when I first saw it (was hoping the style like in FE4 where everyone is beautiful-*shot*), however as I play, I came to understand that it goes along well with the game (the 3D thing that I was so afraid of, cut scene and the animation etc etc) and all. I was in love with the game that I played 3 times in a row! XD
Great pic anyway! I like the pencil crayon thing you have it there, I really wondered if it is a handmade. lol

It is enjoyable so far I don't know if I really REALLY like any of the character yet. I need more support conversations to decide (I'm only on chapter 7 so far lol)!
Yes, I think the art style grows on me as I play the game. I just wish maybe there would be more armor and less skin showing in the official artwork because it looks weird for a dragon knight for example, having her back exposed instead of being in full armor. xD
You played it 3 times already? Oh my gosh! You spent so many hours!! Did you also buy all the extra content?

Wait wait wait, you're already playing it? I heard it was out early and some fans already got them, so you're one of them? Congrats! As for me, I played the Japanese one since last year (since I'm Asian). And I didn't buy every DLC, just the level grinding one, Alm and Erika. (plus I got Mars for free.)
Actually, that's my first impression when I saw Serge's official artwork. It does look strange, haha. However, she is still my favorite character.

Yeah~! I am one of the people who got it early (I got 2 copies, actually! One for me, one for my brother). We're planningt o buy every DLC since we're huge fans (even if oen of them is just fanservice fluff.. but we like having extra support convos). lol
I don't know what to think of her yet since I didn't get that far. xD

Oh, definitely did not beat it yet. I am very slow. xD I play about 1-2 chapters a day only. Haha! I'm on chapter 14.. so a little less than halfway through since there are all those children chapters too!

They have to leave Marth in for series representation reasons. lol
And they'll just stick in whatever lord is newest. xD Though I hope they add ONE MORE too.. maybe the Avatar character as a female for a sword and sorcery type finally! That would be awesome.

nahh, if they're going to add a mage, and it's going to be a girl, they should add one of the prodigies. and the most cutest well-known is probably Nino. Lute just wasn't as likable, in my opinion. though fewer people know about Sacred Stones anyway. if it was going to be ANY mage, however, I'd say add either Pent or Soren.

Nino and Pent aren't main character enough to get in, I don't think.
And Soren would be an extra representation of Tellius, which already happened with Ike.. And if they were going for a Tellius mage, they might as well put in Micaiah because she's a lord.. Perhaps Celica? She's a mage lord too, and obscure, but maybe they are planning to remake FE2 at some point finally. lol

I haven't played Radiant Dawn yet, so I don't know how much Micaiah weighs on the lord scale of badassery

Haha.. I have a feeling many fans would rage because so many people don't like Micaiah. XD She's not much of a lord either because Ike still steals the spotlight in that game. It's kind of sad! LOL
HRM. I dunno which laguz they would add! I want to say Tibarn because he's really cool, but probably Ranulf or Lethe if they did. Or maybe one of the manaketes, actually.. like Nowi or Tiki. XD
