Another year on - no time to make a new 'Birthday Pic' - but this one will do...Indulge me ... I was philosophical about being 60, got over being 61 - but I HATE BEING 62!. This is just to cheer up my page. The photo was taken about 6 years ago after I had won the disco contest at a resort complex - much to the embarrassment of the organisers when the lights went up and I announced my age - since the winner had a pass to the National Finals! I resigned, of course, in favour of the much more suitable second-place guy ... but only AFTER I'd had my photo taken with one of the judges [the leader of the resident dance troupe - face blanked because I can't ask permission]. Well, the whole incident amused me. No comments expected.

I agree with the consensus here that you are in no way old. Jsenn is right in that many people do not divulge their age readily, "young" or "old" (as I do not readily admit I am a couple months shy of 1 ; in fact I have become close to some people, and later learned their age, and it has surprised me, when it fact it should not have. Age is numeric, not qualitative. But, if it were to matter anyway, I agree that you look no older than 40.
So whether it's your scourge or not, happy birthday!

Well I think it's wonderful that you are 61 because that makes you just a couple months older than I. People don't often admit their age at this site, since most are pre and pubescent, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mike! I hope you have a stupendous, absolutely kick-up-your-heels day!
