Description
One of a two-piece commission I'm doing on 5x7" paper with graphite. This is the commissioner's father when he was a boy living through the depression. He left home at around 11 to hop trains because his parents could no longer afford to feed him. She discussed with me how her grandparents broke his dinner plate as a symbol that he could not come back to be fed there.Commission information: [link]
