Description
so my folks are building a new house. and I'm pretty excited. I know i'm probably to old. but I still wanna paint the room i'll be staying in until I move out. Soo here you have it, the idea I have for my room. Hope you all enjoy it. cuz it's going up in my room anyway. lol. The paints will look different too so I plan on taking a photo after it's all finished (as stated in the sketch thing i did in paint)I believe the vines on the far wall I won't be able to do, soooo I am going to have one my my friends help me with that (who's also on DA [link] ) so once i post the photos of the walls, I'll have her also post a photo of the far wall so she can show of her amazing art skills.
Ohhh yeah, and if anyone has an Idea of how I can do the squares. can you let me know?
Edit:: my mom's not going to let me paint my room. haha. sooooo I guess this was pointless. but maybe i'll be able to paint a room like this later on when i get my own house.

Looks very cool. Can't wait to see it finished Also that probably is the best way... Using that method would be best I think; spraying the paint (not exactly spray paint cans) would be better for this; although... If you don't know anyone with the skill to operate a sprayer, you could still use brushes. Just make sure it's not drippy when you do it

I'll have to use a brush, because spraying seems dangerous XD.

Ooh, pretty, I like it. That's a really neat color scheme, too.
For the squares, you mean an idea of how to go about painting it? Here's how I'd do it: once you have the wall painted the way you want it underneath, try measuring + sketching out a grid on the wall/ceiling, in pencil. Then use painter's tape and tape over the squares you do not want to get painted. (Also, tape a border along the boundaries of the grid you drew, too, so you don't have to worry about painting over the edge by mistake.) Then just paint over the whole area inside the border, tape and all, and peel off the tape once it's dry. Voila, squares
I hope that's what you were asking... and I hope that made sense
