Description
Now that I'm done with the contest I figured Id finally submit inertia's bio page I'm sure a lot of you have seen her before.
My original design, seen in my gallery, was an early concept...this one is more finalized. I'm really happy with her and have quite a few others like her I need to scan and color. Her people are really fun to draw and it's a blast playing with their masks and crazy high end runway fashion.

Inertia

Face:

Inertia's face is never shown, in her world is it commonplace for the young to wear masks. Generally the design of the mask will dictate status. Once retired the Rasui people remove their masks.

Hair:

A wild burnt orange color. Inertia's hair is a mess of spiky slightly upturned hair. It falls down her back at the bottom but raises up in thicker pieces on either side of her face.

Clothing:

Inertia wear's a fashion design piece I did which combines traditional japanese Hakama and JNBY like Harem pants. Which I like to call 'Harkama' Her general colors consist of light sage green, orange, white and black. I don't mind if you play with the design but please keep it fairly recognizable.

Body:

Inertia is very very tall, approx. 6'8. With very long elegant legs and arms. She is quite toned and likes to show off her tummy.
Her skin is a dark grey/purple with a hint of brown...if that makes sense.

Do you ever wonder why you dream about the things you do?
What if the concept of a guardian angel was just a bit skewed?

When a human is born he/she is paired with an appropriate Rasui Guard. A Rasui Guard is basically a dream keeper, it is their duty to lead you through life the best they can and help you through tough situations.
But only while you are sleeping.

They say when a person has a deep crush on someone they can sometimes dream of that person...but as their sister or brother. Which come morning seems pretty messed up. But really, it is your Rasui's way of helping you deal with a complicated emotion by setting a comfortable presence into the dream, such as a sibling.

Rasui are trained from the start to take on this task, their personalities are studied and paired with a human who shares similar traits. This doesn't always turn out so well. There are Rasui with sick twisted minds, they slowly contort a humans idea's through sleep. Such as accelerating bad habits, fetishes and idea's such as 'rape'. There are also Rasui who are simply too lazy and wont create dreams at all, which causes the human to not dream.

Rasui have 3 times the lifespan of a human so it is very rare for one to pass away before their designated human does. If this happens, the human will be in a coma.

Rasui are a strong career based culture, there is no other option besides being a Guard. For those who rebel there are severe punishments, but its not unheard of to find rebel groups on the outskirts of towns.
A Rasui can only retire once their designated human has passed on, or, if too soon, they can be outfitted with another. Which usually results in a very detail heavy dreaming human.

How does Inertia fit into all of this? Well, she doesn't. Call it rebel with a cause, because it just wouldn't be interesting without chaos.
Her designated human was a slave who became free. Inspired by the humans desire for freedom she too started to react based on his actions. It's nearly unheard of to not follow Rasui code, yet humans are hardly chained by anything? Why must they do what they do?

Inertia is a strong girl, empowered by the insight of her human counterpart she strives to help her people understand the concept of freedom of choice. To question why they should have to be chained to their jobs. She's very snide and can be quite short with people.
She is also strong and agile, taking to the athletic competitions of her world. Her mask is considered mid class, although her clothing choices make people question her families honor and dedication to their positions.
She's calculative and refuses to rebel like the others, which is more or less with destruction force.
