Description We are the fallen; attempting to escape the precipice of our own mind and body. We are the natural illusionists; faking every smile, and blinding all humanity. You may think you know me, but truly I'm in pieces, and desperately searching for a way to pull myself back to together. I am, "The Fallen."

This took many hours to edit and take the photo, and I know for a fact that there are still mistakes, but I enjoyed the learning experience. One of the only problems I ran into was that I could not figure out how to keep the frame standing straight up, as I managed to squeeze through it. Actually, I probably spent two hours running back and forth, trying to get exactly what I had planned. I don't know, I wanted to illustrate something on the lines of escaping your own body, thus the odd position on the left. But, I thought maybe it could also represent something on the lines of, "My life is in pieces," literally.
(The separate positions were done purposely...)

Interesting concept, and I can't see any obvious errors here, at least at that scale, so good job, both in concept and execution.

this is as brilliant and creative as it gets! once again, you've amazed me with an eerily gorgeous picture, unlike anything I've seen before~ I really love the concept behind this, and the way you edited it looks flawless, at least to the eyes of one who may not have been there at the shoot.

Okay, so I'm out walking in the woods, when I come across this weird scene. There's this girl (she gorgeous, but ignore that for now), and she's crawling through this small frame thingy. I watch her for awhile, and see what she's trying to do. She flits back and forth to the camera situated some metres away from the frame, clicks the 30-second auto-photo button, and then runs back quickly to the frame thingy and crawls into it...just in time to hear the camera go 'Click'. She does this several times, and in a way, it's very funny...I almost want to intervene and help her. But I don't...as it's a work in progress that has to be completed by just her. I decide after a time that I'm intruding then, so I sneak away, and hope, in the end, she completes the work. I think to myself, very creative, this girl, I bet. I hope she makes more like this, as it takes a good abstract mind to think up something like this. But I also hope, as tends to be with such minds, that she isn't too centred on such thoughts that may overwhelm one, as we live in a Universe where some questions can never be answered. It's like, well, say, looking up at stars on a dark night, where it just takes too much to understand it. I wish her well, whatever wood she's in...

Thank you. This is true. It was almost impossible for me to get two photos with the same exact angle, as I tried many times. In the end, these were the only two I could use. Thank you again, it means a lot.

Even that, I think, was meaningful - like pulling yourself out of what you "should" be according to the other half of yourself.

i was kidding, its amazing i try to appreciate every art work because of the effort of the artist in making it <<<<<0>>>>> i was bored of giving too many gud comments so i decided to criticise sorry for that!! i hope you didn't mind it

MeishkaBokeh In reply to ShadowStormEX [2013-04-21 18:59:21 +0000 UTC]

It's fine, I don't necessarily take any offense. It's more of the way you went about saying it. If you critique and artwork, the artist better appreciates it. I enjoy critiques, but it just appeared as if you were trying to make it seem too "easy," when it truly takes effort.

Thank you for that, and it truly DID take me hours upon hours to get the shot. I believe I took about 30 photos, just to get two that would actually work. And, it did take hours to trim everything and align. Thus, I am glad you appreciate it, WishIWould.

WishIWould In reply to MeishkaBokeh [2013-04-20 19:56:30 +0000 UTC]

When people say "oh that's easy on PhotoShop," I feel like they must either not use PhotoShop and are just theorizing, or they can do it but are being incredibly arrogant and forgetful of whatever hours they put into learning how. The former always seems much more likely! Either way, it's an incredibly condescending and rude thing to say! Not to mention patently untrue.

And there's obviously so much thoughtfulness put into each pose, too, and that doesn't come from quick snapped s hots! I like how the half of herself she's trying to "pull out of" is on her back, a more prone/helpless position, whereas the part climbing out is in a more active position. The impossiblity of how the two pieces could logically connect is such a meaningful artistic choice!

That is disturbing.
With that being said, art should affect people in some way, and this definitely made me feel something! Although it leaves me feeling a bit uncomfortable, I really like it. You did a good job. Even if you did mess up, the most important thing is learning so you can do better the next time you try

It is a really good concept and now I am left thinking. Good job~
