While taking a walk last evening, I encountered this Red Eft.

I've entered this in "Children's Eyes on Earth" photography contest.
My Caption: My love of nature stems from the much simpler and smaller aspects of our environment. During the crisp cool evenings of early summer, I often take a walk in the nearby neighboring woods. Camera in hand, I use my eyes to scan the beauty surrounding me. This photograph depicts a very small Red Eft, a very common species found in our area. He has set off on a long and hard journey through the tiny dense thicket he calls home.
I slightly color corrected this image. NO heavy enhancement has been done.
