Well I think that poll was just for jokes because there is no way people think that CD-i link is better than the other Links... Seriously if you add CD-i Link in there that is the same as adding Shrek or Goku in a Smash Ballot, they are going to win! It is the same thing here...

I felt so sad when Young Link is so left out. Apparently he's the most ...interesting Link among all of them. Like seriously, think of what he's been though.
He had to leave home and fight bad guys with the risk of dying when he's 9, he learnt his life is all a lie (he's not a kokiri), he had to grow up and mature when he had to act like an adult when he's in the adult era, when he finally completed his mission in OoT most of his best friends he know in his adventure might or might not die to become sages, he had to leave Hyrule and go through all that f**cked up torture in Majora's Mask, he MIGHT be dead, but at the end he ended up as a forgotten hero and cannot rest properly when he died, he probably did not die by old age either.
As for 4th wall breaking stuff, he was added to melee just because the developers thought the cast is too small, he is a clone character, his "Younger Link" existence is completely replaced by Toon Link, not a lot of fans remember him in OoT as they remember the sexy Adult Link more than the young one, in Hyrule Warriors he's given a dark element weapon (which, think of it, is not a very nice weapon for a Hero), and there's a lot more I don't bother to name.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far Young Link is the YOUNGEST Link ever in the Zelda history, being 9 years old. Toon Link is 12 years old, and the rest of the Links either have no specified age or are teens/adults (All Links' ages were somewhere as young as 9 to as old as 19). But all the crap he'd gone though... not even a 19-year old Link might be able to go through it easily.
Now, according to the survey, he's the worst Link. Anyone every feel bad about him? No? Because I do feel sorry for him. Poor soul.

Really, Young Link and basically all the other Links are like Mario and Luigi. Young Link was overshadowed by other Links, just like Luigi was overshadowed by Mario. CDi and the Cartoon Links had reasons to be hated on and we kinda do agree on... But Young Link did nothing wrong. Even if he did, he didn't know it was wrong.
That's why Young Link is getting so much power in his quests. Nintendo wants him to be loved by fans again.

No he isn't dead in Majora's Mask I can assure you that, that theory has been debunked every single bit of it with 100% True evidence.
Young Link was replaced in Brawl which I am a little upset about and I think he should come back in Smash I hope he comes back in Smash5 so I really hope that happens. (Toon Link you slot stealing douche bag!)

Yes he is the Youngest version of Link, (Hence the name Young) from what I looked up there was a interview back in the year 2000, and some one asked Aonuma about Link, and Aonuma talked about a lot of things about him including his age being 7 years old in OOT, and 8 in MM, However people haven't seen this interview and think his age is 10 or even 13, but he is 7 from that interview and 8 (being a couple months to a year later) in MM, WW Link is said to be between 9 - 12 years of age.

I guess a 7 year old kid is too ridiculous for Nintendo so they kept raising the age cap, keeping his from teen to young adulthood, and away from being a child.

Yeah I would say so, I think the youngest we are going to get to Young Link will be 10 from now on, 7 was really young and that just makes link's adventure in OOT and MM much worse, that is still quite a early childhood he has another 5 years ahead of him till his teenage years, and he is fighting for his life... Toon Link rose the age count but not nearly as much.

actually I don't think it will be 10 I think it will be 13 because in Japan the age of consent is 13 instead of 18 here.

But we can say Young Link will be a lot more mature than Toon Link. Young Link is forced to grow up in OoT, while Toon Link doesn't have to do this stuff. Getting so close to death all the time throughout his adventures... Young Link is basically forced to go through said journey. Send back in time to live his childhood they say. Hmm I wonder if the childhood is still there in the first place...

I think he is matured because he already saw a lot of F***ed up stuff, plus already have been matured to the age of 14-15, he is definitely matured to the age of 15 even though he is in a 8 year old body.

Yes, if we break the fourth wall and put all the Links together in one world, Young Link will be a big brother figure to all the pre-teen Links (despite being the youngest), or he might do things with his older counterparts. Like, I dunno, drinking? (There's milk in MM which we can assume contains alcohol) Basically he can mix in both age groups no problem.

Also I don't know if you know it but Young Link is not only the Youngest, he is the fastest, and strongest, using the bunny hood, and then becoming a deity make him the strongest version of Link there is... Just a fun fact.

The CD-I Link is from a game called "Link: The Faces of Evil" for the CD-I system. The other Link from the cartoon show is called after the first game.
