hahaha, I think many people were "voting ironically" just to tip the scale to something unexpected.
The only thing that can fix this taunting situation is the grand favorite of that poll beating CD-I's face in with the hilt of his sword and then giving the kids some candy to make up for it.

Drawing without noses is sometime part of the style. Like the Powerpuff Girls, for example: if you imagine them with noses, they would look very awkward, but it's there. Is just that you don't see it.
