Let’s go to sleep; Close our eyes,And dream of broken butterflies
That tore their wings against a thorn.
We know the pain that they have borne.
Silver metal, shine so bright.
Scarlet blood that feels so right.
Dream of blood tickling down,
And wake up just before we drown.
The moonlight’s shining off our tears,
As we bleed out our own worst fears.
So tonight we start to cry,
And sing the Cutter’s lullaby…
Hushabye, baby, you’re almost dead.
You have no pulse and your pillow is red.
You’re family hates you and your friends let you bleed,
Sleep tight with a knife because that’s all you need.
Rockabye baby, broken and scarred,
You didn’t know life would be this hard.
Time to end the pain that you hid so well,
And down will come baby, straight back to hell.

With all due respect considering I don't know you, um, please tone down the language...not necessary at all.
this poem doesn't condone suicide. Some people write what they feel to help themselves get over things or get through things.
Next time you go to write something rude like this think before you speak and try to put yourself in the other persons shoes before jumping down their throat with cursing and rage.
Also, it is NEVER ok to tell someone that they will "burn in Hell" EVER. Leave that decision to the deity of their choice please.

Im not a cutter personally but my cousin was and two of my friends are so thats why i love this poem. when ever my friends want to cut i do something called the butterfly project where you draw a butterrfly in sharpie on the persons arm when they want to cut and name it after yourself if your a close friend and you say that if you cut the before the butterfly goes away you have killed that butterfly and who/whatever you named it after you let the butterfly fade naturally.it helps because 99% of the time if they stick to the rules they forget/dont care about what happened when they wanted to cut and do this every time they want to cut.
