Description Like most Brits, I was raised to view tea as a whole other food group. Indeed, the world's various teas and I have been scandalously intimate for quite some time. This illustration was inspired in no small part by Emilie Autumn.

I thought for a moment, with the hairstyle, you were making a reference to Irma la Douce, from the movie of the same name. But I am mistaken! Very cute expression she has, I am surprised she doesn't have her pinkie lifted! <3
Thank you for sharing.

Ah, yes, the fabled English tea addiction <3 I too am shamelessly hooked on tea of all kinds. The joys of being a Brit

I known a British girl for a somewhat long period, though I haven't spoke with her for quite some time now. Anyway, she too were a tea addict, she had a dedicated "mealtime" every day for it. Every time the clock hit 5 (I think) o'clock, she just left everyone and everything in it's place to have that damned tea

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

melarune In reply to eXticey [2011-06-05 20:06:57 +0000 UTC]

The traditional time for it is somewhere between 3pm and 5pm and usually with small sandwiches and cakes and such. It's a lovely affair, really

I don't really make a big deal of it like that, I just drink it all day long.

With milk and stuff? Brrr.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

melarune In reply to eXticey [2011-06-05 20:14:07 +0000 UTC]

Not all the time. Most of the time I drink green tea. no milk or sugar.

eXticey In reply to melarune [2011-06-05 20:21:34 +0000 UTC]

But sometimes you do, and milk and tea together, I mean... ugh
I wouldn't try it for all the riches in the world

melarune In reply to eXticey [2011-06-05 20:38:11 +0000 UTC]
