This is a beautiful pic, I love the intimacy of the view created by the big leaves to either side. The lighting is nice too, not too strong.

What I've found with photographing trees is that often too much sunshine can be a problem and cause exposure problems due to all the contrast of light and shadows.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Most of the time my camera can't cope with all the hard contrasts.

The perfect composition of those leaves and the way the vine is growing on that trunk make this seem like a picture from a fairytale, very nice
