Yesterday, after a long auto-immune disease, one of our two mascots Elise had to be put down by the vet at 2pm.She is now at peace, and no longer suffers, though our hearts cry her much.

I know what it's like to lose pets to illness, my kitten had to be put down because of it... I cried myself to sleep 4 nights in a row, I loved my dear Akira that much.

*hugs back* It's been just over a year since she passed on. But my second cat Preety has really cheered me up. She's very calm, only noisy when she wants some attention and it makes me feel as if I was with Akira again. ^^
