Little rough "faux charcoal" drawing I did last night/this morning, because it was cold and I needed something hot to keep me warm.
By "faux charcoal" I mean digital done with charcoal brushes.
No reference, so the arms are a bit off. Couldn't find a reference for this kind of pose. Shame. I like lazy poses.
Seth, btw, is totally my imaginary property. Hands off. I have plans for him.
[Edit: His far hand was really bugging me. It made his arm look too long, wasn't attaching to his wrist right, and was drawing the eye away from his face... so I've adjusted it, and touched things up in other places]

How did you accomplish the faux charcoal look?

They're actually the standard Conte Crayon brushes in Painter. I might've tweaked the opacity and grain a little.
