Faith

As skies above will once again be blue,
So to the clouds o’er head will soon be gone.
The healing sun will shine again anew,
And I will find the strength to carry on.

My empty glass will once again be filled,
My barren table graced with daily bread,
My path will turn to follow where I’m willed,
So that my hungry spirit may be fed.

Eyes wet with falling tears will dry to see
The rainbow that appears after the rain.
For hardships are what make a stronger me,
And true endurance comes from bearing pain.

This too shall pass, for I am not without
The faith to see the light beyond my doubt.

Sometimes, faith is all you have. Without it, life can be a dark and scary place...
