A boy and his best friend peering through lilac mist, as they saw something rather interesting.I love when a little story coming to life during the creation of painting. In this piece everything started from sketch of a dog I did a while ago. I also like heather and its color, love the violet and green together. And this plant reminds me of Scotland, where I've never been but definitely wish to visit someday. As I grew up with Scottish fairy tales it touches my heart ever since. So I decided to give this boy a little talisman in a shape that reminds of a kelpie.
