I've seen a lot of suicide-themed art. After a while it all blends together and the concept itself ceases to be effective. It's then up to the artist to put the emotion back in suicide. I've seen a few who are able to do that. You've just shown me that you're one of them. Thank you.

this doesn't strike me as being spectacular, but i guess the seventy billion people who looked at this and commented and favorited it can't all be wrong. it does have a certain serenity and sadness to it. i do like it.

this is cool. Im not sure why u arent amazed. see the thing that I dont agree with ur post above is that I dont consider it goth style, not like we go out painting because we want goth style, we want sympathy, and definetly not because we think death is cool, if we thought that we would all be dead, but as u see this person creating this image is not dead, and the other thing I have to mention is ... ppl draw things alive, flowers, ppl, happiness, well thats as fascinating as a dead flower, a dead person, dead anything, even an inanimate object. Because they are all part of this life we live. death is very much a part of what we live. So Im fascinated by death in the sense that its misunderstood, the point cant be found? so really dont criticize this artwork, it may not have a cents worth to u, but the art itself is amazing. it seems like a fairy dark angel or something who lost all hope, Not all good things can last. with happiness comes suffering, always. some ppl go thru tramatic experiences and others maybe dont, some ppl like to show it and others dont, so maybe ur living pics hold no worth to some, but to some this art holds much worth. its not a joke. I didnt see it and think omg how funny, I saw it and thought how tragic, how sad. this is great artwork BTW. it has feeling, and originality in it.

I hate the fact that the artist displays, or presents Death in front of his/her audiences just as if comedians were to discuss a decent joke with his fellow watchers.
The word Death has its profound meaning and yet it's not what we usually call 'cool' or 'ownage'. Death is not a show, not a game, not even a joke or something that you can cast on other's fate.
I strongly disagree that this piece does worth a penny because it's nothing more than what others call it 'the goth style' or sending a message,"Death is somewhat reasonable at this point." to everyone who views it.
So do American have anything more creative rather than a picture of this nameless, out of shape, innocent guy hanging himself? Did today's media overwhealmed our mind?
I don't see any meaning in this piece, none of them. To me, it's just a promotion to the so call 'goth style', it's a promotion to darkness, this is not Romanticism, this is not even Dark. It's the way to hell!
If death is this cool, why am I not amazed?

That's a clown right? The deadless clown is really very creative. As we all know clowns are lifely and cheerful, and this is a dead clown. The decaying colours really work well, and the green behind, like the blairwitch sign hanging over the trees. *thumbs up*
