Squigly is one of my favorite characters not just because of her unique and interesting design, but because of her relationship dynamics with Leviathan.
It is very clear that both care about each other, and Leviathan, being a Parasite, could pretty much switch to another host. But he doesn't. He'd rather stay with her (not to mention Squigly's ending was rather saddening, but Heartwarming still.)

Well yeah, he doesnt seem dead but he is a parasite, so it makes,sense for him to like go into hibernation without a host.
