Your style is beautiful and I love that you incorporated some of the darker highlighted coloring the official art used, but in your own way. The expressions are on point and full of personality. This game is one of my favorites and artists like you help to remind why.

That makes my day to hear it had that kind of effect on you! You really tap into the core of what makes nostalgic subject matter so much fun to reminisce about, and doing it in such a way that feels fresh and uniquely you. I've loved Majora's Mask since the day I first read about it in fourth grade in our classroom while searching for cool Ocarina of Time tricks on our classroom computer. Was so excited when I came across the first screenshot of the game, featuring Link standing face-to-face with a masked Skull Kid in the beginning of the game. Left me totally mystified and totally hyped.

OOHOOH I can totally relate to that sensation!! I think a game does its job well when you can remember the circumstances of when you first played/heard about it. Like it travels beyond the game experience itself, haha! Majora seriously has that nostalgia with it, it's just so good in terms of atmosphere ;w;

I still remember the circumstances of getting MM. My dad thought we could pick up Donkey Kong 64 at the same time since it was packaged with the Expansion Pak and MM required that accessory in order to play it. We weren't big on DK at the time, but to us, it was like getting a free game out of it, haha.
It sure makes me happy MM still holds up as well as it does today! I really want to get back to MM3D again one of these days. Have to replay the Snowhead Temple because even though I beat it within the last five minutes of the final night, I never got all the Great Fairy pieces so I missed out on getting the power-up. xD

I don't like some of the changes in MM3D, mainly that i remember i spent hours looking for the damn stone mask only to find out they shoved it right in the pirates fortress xD THAT'S CHEAAAAP, plus some fairies are much easier to get now? and the zora's SWIM CONTROLS DSHFSD but enough complaining i actually love that it's portable :,D

I never actually got very far in DK64, although I do remember the grandma Kong kinda freaking me out. xD Rare had a way of doing that with some of their games, like Diddy Kong Racing and the Banjo-Kazooie games. I heard DK64 is on the NA Wii U Virtual Console service. Might be interesting to pick it up sometime.
Heh, I haven't gotten as far to see the Zora swimming controls in motion for myself, but I have seen comparison videos and I definitely understand the frustration behind it. Nintendo should have left that part alone...but meh, too late now I guess. :0 I agree though; I must own at least three copies of OoT and MM by now and it's nice to have 'em in portable form too.

It's definitely worth a look! It's got an awful lot of shortcomings but if you like collectatons it's very... addictive in a way, hah! I agree too, Rare's got this thing for adding creepy things onto their games xD
Main difference would be that before you could swim like a dolphin without using magic, now it's only when you got that shield activated and swimming normally FEELS really slow despite it being just normal speed? It's such a li'l detail but gooosh I liked doing that stupid dolphin jump outta the water so much xD

Heh, well it's awesome to hear you enjoyed the game all the same despite its flaws. 
I hear ya on that one, that was honestly one of my favorite things to do in the game. If you want to swim with dolphins, visit SeaWorld or play Endless Ocean. If you want Dolphin Simulator, look no further than the original Majora's Mask. xD
