I have been meaning to draw a picture like this SINCE LAST YEAR. I finally sat myself down (avoiding all the studying and homework I need to do for finals, I'm so screwed) and began sketching.These two babes have changed quite a bit since they first came into being. I'm glad to see them come so far, and I can't wait to make my costume next month and bring Spock to life.
It's no secret by now that I love drawing hot ladies. This was just a great excuse to draw some more.

I LOVE BOTH OF THESE SO MUCH! Oh gosh! Where to begin? I love how delicately you've treated the expressions. You've managed to convey their character's perfectly. The texture of the hair is fantastic as well. My one critique is that they look a bit... similar? You might want to find some reference pictures of different women to work from to make their faces a bit more distinguished and varied. Still, excellent work. I LOVE ALL OF YOUR ART.

Hair is still the most difficult for me, but I just kind of swing with it haha.
Yeah, I've definitely got that problem. All of my girls tend to look the same OTL B-But I did try and give Spock a more narrow mouth, higher cheekbones, and a pointier nose! I tried translating Kirk's features from Chris Pine's face, but it was really hard to make Quinto a lady so I kind of gave up on making Spock look like him.

Hair is very difficult. SO MANY DIFFERENT COLORS ON ONE HEAD. HOW DO I DRAW?
They are slightly different and they're different enough so that it kind of works, but I think that the piece would be even more powerful if both of their faces looked even more unique.

It's so confusing. Same with skin tone. I'm blonde (actually I have basically the same coloring as Chris Pine) and my skin contains so many different colors--inlcuding weird stuff like green and purple.
It's very important. Your art is so beautiful, though. It pains me to critique it, because I don't know how to express my LOVE as well.
