Curiously, it seems he is going to kiss Rainbow Dash. I think the previous idea became too implanted in my mind.
On the other hand I can see some curious points: First, when a man laughs at another man's height does not usually have much tact, just need to put a finger on his head to disturb him. Also, there is a gap in which a man differentiate between a romantic overture and a joke, in this case Applejack should be one step ahead of Rainbow Dash. Stand also that Applejack with his left hand take the face of Rainbow Dash and kiss him(Well, I looks like that.).

I went over your other pony art of Elusive and Butterscotch.
Because I found a fic last night (red: stumbled, haven't finished, but was strangely intrigued because it wasn't awful) that had the ponies meet their alternative selves.
With Elusive and Butterscotch being some of the names.

Haha, no, it's not a coincidence. That's actually a very popular fic, and the names that the author uses has kind of become... fan canon, you could call it? Granted, people are free to give genderbent ponies their own names, but those are the most recognizable. And that story is actually pretty good! There are some good fics in the fandom, but the majority is awful xD
