You should define the setting for your first few panels, along with an explanation of where they are and a history that explains the purpose of the place. THEN the protagonist should be introduced.

As stated in the description, this is a comic concept, not an actual comic. Bouncing two different story ideas around and am going to draw a page or two of each and decide which story to roll with afterward. People need to see the main characters for that.

I know it's a comic concept, but either way the setting needs to be defined. Otherwise it's a one shot that happens in a random place. Just a suggestion: The protagonist is talking in the HUB of the soul world.
I mean this is all just my "unasked for" advice but obviously you can just tell me to suck it and I'll enjoy reading your comic concept anyway ^_^
