Description note of warning: the storyline present here has been carried over from pictures prevous.

the spell edeana had been meditating over for so long
was one that could conjure forth a keeper of keys.
the keeper was a magical creature that held in
its hands a key that could could open various locks forged of
dark magic. there was one component missing though....
the only component that edeana could not forge of the raw elements about her
barren room. the component was the tears of one who has been broken by love.....
edeana put her ear to the drainage pipes and listened close for the sounds of the bride....
her cruel words had been laced with a special kind of magic and now it was time to see if the arrow of truth had hit home.....
she heard the bride say, "he isn't coming to get me.....he's never coming for me...i've...i've....wasted....so much time...and all the while.....he had no
intentions of coming for me at all...."
upon uttering those last words, edeana heard the sound she was waiting for....the sounds of sobbing....
she began to utter her incantation, pulling all the energy that had been welling up around her all these long years.
her heart raced as if it might burst and just as she thought she might faint from the exertion,
the spell pushed out of her with a force that knocked her to the floor.
it took a form as a shifting mist and slid through the bars of the cage with ease.
it turned to the cage's lock and examined it.
"you are only half a creature," edeana managed to say, picking herself off the floor,
"you must go forth to the one who weeps, for i've broken her precious heart just for you.
find her and you will have the last component....and then you will come back and set me free."
the mist paused, listening to the sounds all around it. when it pinpointed its prey it moved fast as the wind....
down the hallway and through a corridor, down the bride's hall it made its way.
suddenly it beheld that which it thirsted for: a puddle of tears pushed out from beneath the bride's door, pooling in the hallway in a circle of salt sweetness.
the creature bent to lap at the sparkling liquid and with each sip it grew more and more solid in form....until finally, it stood whole and breathing, in its true
feminine form. from an unseen pocket she pulled a small bottle and splashed tears into its belly till it was filled to the brim.
she tucked the bottle away and reached for the doorknob before her. it turned with ease. the bride looked at her, seeming puzzled and lost. everything around her was wet with her tears and her mind seemed ablaze with riveting confustion. the keeper of the key eyed the teary girl and then softly spoke, "i am mallick, the keeper of key, and i've orders to bring you out of this room."
persephone eyed the figure before her suspiciously, her gaze drawn to the gold thread about the girls wrists.
"who has sent you for me?" she questioned mallick, her voice seeming far away.
"the one you call edeana is my master now.....and we must be quick, for i still have yet to let her out of her cage," mallick answered.
the bride was a bit dazed and slightly confused by all this, but found herself being pulled by an exasperated pixie-creature with strange and unsettling eyes.

hellooow thanks for the kind words....yup, i do need to get my act together and start shopping around for publishers. i've talked a handful of folks 'in the know', and seems as if i keep hearing that i need to put a portfolio together....like glossy 8x10 pics in a nice presentation 'folio' ....(you'd think devart would be enough, damnit) i need to win the lottery soon so i can do that...or stop buying dolls and save money for the endeavor. it's in the cards though....i'm working on it....
then someone told me i needed an agent--that just threw me over the edge...because those guys have fees and such...they don't do their job for free....ahh, the problems of the starving artist.
getting publshed is at the top of my to-do list
...i promise

well you don't need an agent you can self publish (which is expensive) or just do all the leg work with the publishers yourself you need to make a presentation pack and portfolio of your work and some reviews from this place would be good maybe to get an independant website to write a review of the story so far, and get a copy to send with your folio, all these things to help convince publishers of it's validity, i would definately buy a copy, and maybe you should cut down on the ollies a bit if you really wanna get published, but if you need them for your great work then it's a vicious circle, glad to hear you wanna tery at least hope you don't mind my bugging you so much x

you're not bugging me at all. i need people pushing me and reminding me that my greater goal is to get published. it's like i get very caught up in my everyday life and going to my day job and just making art in my spare time...i get distracted....even while steadily making art. i sometimes do forget (do to the endless mundane pressures of our idiot modern world) that my main mission is to get published and push my work into the faces of a larger audience thanks for the push.

This doll is so cool-looking and the way you shot her just screams eerie! The words with this one are really incredible too. You're my favorite storyteller
