Description

This is what Vindicator would look like in the style of Transformers: Prime. In my Orionverse of the Aligned Continuity, Vindicator is portrayed as a Decepticon therapist, a counselor, a healer, an advisor, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a scientist, a chemist, a soldier, a warrior, a technician, a medic, a battle strategist, and a survivor. He's basically one of the supporting characters of my TFP fanfic au, "The Son of Megatron" where he serves as a therapist for both Orion Eclipse and Megatron. He was the one who helped Breakdown cope with his feelings when he felt betrayed, abandoned and left to die underneath the debris of a fallen building by Bulkhead, the Wreckers, and the Autobots during a Decepticon attack on Iacon because Breakdown is portrayed as a former Wrecker trainee and ex-Autobot who became a Decepticon and a Stunticon and a test subject to Shockwave's experiment that can turn teenage robots into adult super soldiers kind of like Shazam and Captain America. But anyway, Vindicator has the voice of Charles Dance, the actor who played Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones, and the reason why I gave him an important role to play in The Son of Megatron is because I want characters like Megatron and Orion Eclipse to have a therapist to talk to.

I'll bet that Rung wasn't the only therapist Megatron had to talk to about his PTSD he got from being resurrected, possessed, enslaved, mind-controlled, and tortured by Unicron the Chaos Bringer. Vindicator lost an arm when he fought against Airwave the leader of the Nihilicons (a group of cannibalistic Transformers who feed on Energon from other Transformers and who were born from parents of both Decepticon and Autobot factions during the Great War, so they pledge their loyalty to Unicron while spreading chaos and discord) when he was traveling across space from planet to planet to help those in need like the poor, the sick, the injured, the mentally ill, the homeless, and the war veterans before he got attacked and was fighting in self-defense which costed him his arm. Vindicator is an anti-hero and is different from the Decepticons because he not only helps his fellow Decepticons and their allies, but he also offers help and support to his enemies like the Autobots and he's friends with the Neutrals.

Vindicator supported Megatron's idea of bringing equality and freedom to Cybertron by ridding the planet of the Autobots who were an oppressive/tyrannical government during the Caste System era, but Vindicator was totally against Megatron's idea of using Dark Energon to save/conquer Cybertron by poisoning the planet to its core where Primus lives in. Vindicator tried so hard to convince Megatron to find a better way to save Cybertron when it was damaged due to stellar cycles of warfare, but Megatron was too stubborn to listen, so when he tried to corrupt Primus with the Blood of Unicron, Orion Pax went to free Primus from the corrupting influence and the toxic energy of Dark Energon before he earned the Matrix of Leadership and became Optimus Prime after Megatron failed to stop his former pupil figure and brother-in-arms due to The Fallen influencing his apprentice to stop Orion from becoming the last Prime to bear the Matrix of Leadership. Vindicator eventually gave up trying to convince Megatron to end his madness since it won't help him recover from his loss when Firestar disappeared and was presumably kidnapped and Doomsayer managed to make her death more convincing by killing off her clone during an Autobot attack.

Vindicator continued to serve Megatron and help him and his son Orion Eclipse through therapy appointments as the years would go by before Cybertron would finally shut down and everyone had to evacuate the planet. After Megatron thought to have lost his only son in a space explosion, Vindicator let his master mourn the loss of his son, but he believed that Orion Eclipse was still alive since no one found the body in space. After Megatron and his Decepticons went aboard the Nemesis and chased after Optimus Prime and his Autobot friends aboard the Ark to have their final battle and they got sucked into a vortex which brought them to Earth, Vindicator went solo and he traveled to other colony planets to try to heal and help those who were affected by the war despite the fact that he's a Decepticons. When he heared rumors about Omnitron being ruled by a Decepticon "co-leader" named, Lord Valcon, who is a disciple of Megatronus Prime a.k.a The Fallen, Vindicator decided to investigate and when he arrived on that planet, he met Aeon and his friends. Vindicator chose to keep his Decepticon insignia as a constant reminder of how he served Megatron before his disappearance and Vindicator helped Aeon through therapy when he told him that his father Tycho was killed by Lord Valcon in the Energon Mines.

I wish I could explain more about Vindicator, but overall, he's basically my OC but with a Transformers name that already existed somewhere just like with my OC Blight whose name I borrowed from a Transformers: Prime character that never appeared in the TV show back in the 2010s.
