I had to look up where Babylon was for this!I used to like the idea of them being spanish for some reason?? It made no sense but I was into it
and then I found out Babylon is in Iraq and I love the idea of these birbs being Iraqis.
They are aliens though so nothing matters.
She doesn't look nearly bitchy enough.
Every time I try to make someone really tan they always end up light skinned. I need to stop being afraid

Yes I am falling in love with this idea.
I like to give racial identity to every person I draw.
cos before when I would just draw awful anime, I had an epiphany that (to me) all my drawings were just all white people.
but know they're floating more towards racial ambiguity, mostly due to my lack of practice with certain features.

its fine! and yeah i get what you're saying, for a long time i mostly drew white/paler characters and only a few years ago did i start getting more versatile in my features.
i haven't posted any of my drawings of human sonic characters but i've been trying to give my own interpretations of them really unique designs and your takes on them have been an inspiration!

knockabiller and evanstanely are two people off the top of my head that have very interesting sonic people ideas
Knockabiller honestly has the best Blaze gijinka I've ever seen lol
I've never drawn an official looking sonic character in my life and when I think about them they're always people, like it's just easier for me to imagine them that way if that makes sense
but Silver's my favorite character so I've spent the most time on his wacky character design and I'm trying to get him to look on paper how I sees him in my head *-* talk about work
