I am always amazed when I read comments and realize you work in copics for a lot of your work. Your control over them is astounding.

I've only worked in copics really recently. The greys I've had for a few years, but never really used them a lot. I resort to watercolors for some of my greyscale stuff. But Copics work very similar to watercolors, so my comfort with watercolors helps a lot.

I suppose that's why I'm not really comfortable with my own Copics - I'm terrified of screwing up and have no familiarity with watercolors. But it seems like you're stellar at just about any medium you try, and I genuinely mean that.

You'll never be comfortable if you don't just play around with them, too. Goofing off lets you see what they can do.

I think I'll take that advice genuinely, and just try to mess with mine.
They've been in their case almost exclusively since I got them, because I've been afflicted with the fear of them.

MAN! Dun be afraid of your toys. And also- buy the refills. Copics aren't disposable pens, and for the same price as one pen, a refill can fill it again 10 times over. They really are a great tool.

But this picture is awesome, it's very pretty, and captures the essence of Kejak well, unfortunately his essence seems to be that of a perverted old man. I love all the little trinkets on his desk though, very nice touch.
