ok this could just be me.. but as soon as i fullviewed this my eyes started tearing up
its the expression, the tears ,the colours.. the come together to create such an overwhelming emotion..

I don't peronally like Rossetti much, but his Annunciation always struck me as so amazing - despite the winky perspective.

Yes, that is one of my favorites of his as well. I like the symbolism he used and the colors to corresspond with that. Your face is wonderful though, you can feel her emotion.
