Who is Omega Red anyway? I know that's a stupid question, but I'm new to comics, so I don't know who he is. He certainly looks badass. I can tell he's either gonna help wolverine or try to kill him

KGB Experiment to turn a serial killer into a super solider. Typical package of Superhuman powers strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes. Then he has healing factor, cybernetic tentacle whip things that help with his life draining abilities, and he has pheromones called death spores that weaken or kills living creatures. He is a villain. He's fought Wolverine on multiple occasions I believe.
