It feels like it has been so long since I last time drew Meta Knight. I have gotten into several different fandoms and my list of favorite characters have grown even longer, and his place as my number 1 favorite character is now threatened. But no matter if a new character takes his place as my favorite, Meta Knight will always have a special place in my heart.Thought it was about time to draw him again! So here he is! c: Didn't know what title to give it but since it looks like he's getting up after getting knocked down, I think it kinda fits.

Very nice job! Love the shading and his dynamic pose! Also really love how you did his wings and the tattered detail and the ends, really makes it seem like he's seen some battles in his time haha

yeah, it looks cool! i've only ever drawn him with intact wings too but this makes me want to give the alternative a try. this was nice and subtle and not like "wow theyre wrecked" which i see a lot of people doing, so it really works for the idea that he has a lot of history but he's still competent? IDK i'm rambling haha but yes. good piece a+++ keep it up :^)

Yeah, I have seen a lot of those totally wrecked wings as well. Actually I was going to make them more torn but I found myself liking drawing them just enough tattered like this and I might keep doing that in the future. As you said, it works well with the idea that he has a lot of history but is still a competent fighter. I was also thinking about adding some scars (and possible cracks in his armor) to make him look even more like a weathered veteran soldier but I decided against it. I felt keeping it simple was much better. c:
