Actually no I used the path tool (no sure if that's the right translation) in photoshop for the crest. You only need a proper reference picture for the outline then you trace it with the path tool and turn the path into a selection. Then you can fill it with whatever you want and voilá: the Amell family crest
It's pretty usefull for 'drawing' geometric forms often and quickly since you can save it and change it in terms of persective and size easily and without loosing the original.
