Description
www.kickstarter.com/projects/1…We've come forward with being accepting towards those of us who suffer from mental illness,
but there is still a lot of stigmas and a sense of taboo when it comes to discussing it.
We believe we still need more awareness and open dialogue about how many, if not all, of us suffer throughout our lives from wounds that aren't visible.
We chose to explore anxiety for this anthology because it is one of the most prevalent issues in today's hectic society.
------------------------------------------
"My history with anxiety is long, and it revolves around feelings of not wanting to be a bother and a terrible, paralyzing fear that if people notice I am vulnerable, they will use it to hurt me. So when I feel general anxiety or a full-blown panic attack hitting me, I tend to shut down emotionally, to safeguard myself against unwanted feelings. The downside is, I feel nothing at all, which on the long run tends to be even worse.
I tried to depict the sequence of losing all your emotions in my piece."
Thanks a ton to our 82 backers so far! We are currently 68% funded with 16 days to go, so if you haven’t already, please consider backing this project or spreading the word to send this project into print!

An anthology is a collection of works by different authors gathered into one book.
We managed to collect original works from more than 30 artists from around the world, some disabled, some queer, some just your average Joe, to explore their experiences with anxiety.
We have over 90 pages of content that consist of comics, illustrations, sequences, and images that are deeply moving, some disturbing, some soothing.
Check us out on Kickstarter for more info! ♥
