CUPIDS ON STRIKE : NO MORE LOVE ARROWS

Malaysia, 15th February 2008

Upon consultations to various renowned experts on the matter, it is known that Cupis, workers of love who bring joy and romance to the 14th day of February,
are on strike!

It is believed that their boss, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love herself, has been overworking and underpaying them. A representative of the Cupids has this to say:

"That [censored] kicks us around and makes us work our butts of and then she keeps MISPLACING our paychecks!! We've all had enough of this sweatshop!!"

Aphrodite has no comment on the matter.

The Cupids rallied on Mount Olympus, picket line after picket line, blasting the Goddess of Love with their demands: less work hours or more pay.

The situation has forced Aphrodite to make some big decisions. Interestingly, instead of giving the Cupids what they want, the Goddess of Love went down to the field and did all their work herself.

"Valentine's is our busiest day of the year."
says Aphrodite, "if the Cupids won't do their work, then i shall do it myself. There are couples to be united out there, love to be confessed. I have no time for crybabies."
