Another night drive, a few years later
Tears wrapped around the post she just missed
She’s flying at 100 miles per hour
She’ll forget it all, she’ll forget him

Another song plays on the radio
Don’t tell me, the same lyrics
Just a different rotation
Just the same de-fragmentation
Of a mind that slowly has been fading away

Just a different night sky
Just a different person sharing the drive
Watching that same old look creep into her eyes
