Description David Tennant passing his sonic screwdriver to the new Doctor, Matt Smith

This is probably the most cartoony thing I've posted here, I think Tennant looks ok, but I haven't seen much of Smith. I drew him a little subdued, as I imagine he'll give a quieter portrayal than the hyperactive Tennant.

I know they don't have a Tardis each, and the screwdriver was drawn without reference, but I think this looks ok. But very cartoony

While I do like this... I must say that in retrospect it was not a good idea to have the Eleventh Doctor so subdued. Considering that his catchphrase is "Geronimo", he saves the day wearing a fez, and jumps out of a cake at Rory's bachelor party... definitely not quieter.

I know! *facepalm* With Tennant's exuberance and the pics of Smith looking like a professor, I thought they'd be going back to a more Eccleston-like Doctor. Wrong!

The new series starts early april
Tennant is going to be a big act to follow, I just hope Smith doesn't just do the same thing and makes it his own.

Yeah, the show is actually getting a complete facelift now, new(ish) Tardis, new assistant, even a new logo and a more action ready Doctor if the new trailer is to be believed.

Great portrayal of the two Doctors. I won't give too much any so as not to spoil it for people who haven't seen The End of Time part 2, but it looks like Matt Smith is going to make an interesting new Doctor - lots of laughs

Yep, I saw the new logo - not so much a surprise for me because I saw it when they first released it on the Doctor Who website a while back, but it still made me excited to see it And the series 5 trailer - oooh, very exciting!

Well this started as a doodle after the first part of the story on christmas day, then I polished it up and decided to post it to celebrate the new guy

The last 60 seconds was the only thing I liked.

The rest of the episode was too dramatic, not what Doctor Who should be about.

Where's the excitement? The adventure?
