Quid pro quo, yes or no?
Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter.
One of the top movie villains, with a mesmerising performance from Anthony Hopkins, who manages to be scary despite barely moving, and speaking almost in a monotone with that distinctive voice.
I rarely do such a blatant caricature, and this is fairly detailed by my standards. The artefacts on his wall aren't movie accurate, just things that point toward his character

why you' ve put a da vinci in the backgound, it isn' t mirrored, so it must be in the background, right?

In the movie his cell walls are covered in artefacts, so I put four things which suggest his character/preferences - a newspaper cutting from the case, some classical music, a recipe and some fine art

I did rewatch the movies, and sketched the first version of this based on Lecter's first appearance in Silence

Actually, as I was doing this, I was thinking exactly that 
Hopkins has a very interesting face, he has a vertical crease above his left eyebrow I just had to include here

And I've always wondered what was up with that crease, when I was drawing my picture I never thought anything of it, but then I re-watched the series again and I couldn't stop thinking about it. 
By the way, I've been debating weather or not to watch Manhunter, but I'm not too sure about it because Anthony isn't in it...(and I don't want to make the same mistake I did by watching Hannibal Rising)
So...is it any good?

Well once you get past the extreme 1980's styles (not just the clothes, the whole look of the film), it's basically a less grubby version of Red Dragon, but with a shorter ending and much less Lecter (spelt Lektor 
Brian Cox is actually much closer to the Lecter of the books (Hopkins made him much more intimidating) and has his own creepy laid back vibe. It's worth seeing, but here Lecter is definitely a secondary character to the story.

Ya, I watched Red Dragon and didn't mind the story, but I was dissapointed that Hopkins wasn't in it as much as I had hoped. But I will deffinatly have to watch this one just to give it a shot.
(And I think I might be able to handle the 80's vibe. After watching all of the 'A Nightmare on Elm Street's, I think I can handle cheesey 80's stuff...

Well it's not so much the cheesiness, more that everything is so clean and spotless, with lots of blue light etc
