Description
Transformers Prime Megatron.Another Transformers repaint, this time of the strangely pearl white Megatron figure from Transformers Prime.
Believe it or not, he has several shades of metal, grey and silver, but somehow he turned out like some kind of pewter robot
Oh well, he's certainly an improvement over the original, and not bad for a first attempt at the metallic look

Thank you
This is all humbrol enamels. The shiny metal look is humbrol metalcote 27003 over a black base coat, if you're interested

Ah, enamels? It's paint I'm guessing. Can you find this at the Hobby Lobby or Michael's?

Yeah, they're the paints often used for model kits and such. Most art shops will have them, or at least know what you're talking about. They're small tins and not too pricey

Yeah, I've bought some before, Testors to be exact. I custom painted 2 Movie Megatron figures with them after spray painting them with black enamel. Are these paints good to use on plastic? Cuz someone on here told me that over several years they can cause cracks in the plastic...

I'm still new to this, but as I was doing it I did realise he's all screws, and not pins/glue If ever do another I'll dismantle him as much as I can
