Second PotA for Lord Schnee 20580
That.. well.. aehm.. that didn't go as planned. Might write a story later to what actually happened. Lets just say for now, that after his first rite, where Rickan turned human, he didn't have to wait long to change back into a dire. Bad for him and poor Emi, that it wasn't painless and made him seriously mad. He didn't intened to hurt Emi, but... yeah... aehm... fail?
Guess who will get nightmares until the next... life *cough*
And before anyone asks - don't worry, Emi has just been lightly skretched by his teeth, not seriously bitten. So no worries, everything will be fiiiine

Emi and Rickan ride for quite a while through the dark forest. It is calm and peaceful and Rickan can not lie, he absolutely loves the feeling of having his arms around the small womans torso. He didn't have to hug her for so long, that he doesn't want to miss this feeling anytime. Takumi, the golden dire on who's back the two lovers sit, does take his time to walk. Since his handler doesn't seem to be in a rush he enjoys slowly walking through the forest and bathing in the soft full moon light. It is a warm and quite night after all.

Although he doesn't want to do anything more but enjoying the time with Emi, Rickan can not forget what the woman in the forest house told him. Her husband is a werewolf. And it is a full moon. Maybe they should not stay here any longer. "Emi? Can we go a bit faster?" He asks his friend and the woman rolls her head back against his chest to look him up in the eyes. A cheeky smile decorates her lips. "Oh? Do you have any plans with me?" She asks amused and Rickan chuckles for a moment. To be honest, he didn't thought of that yet, but actually that wouldn't be such a bad idea. It had been so long, that he had his human body. "Maybe... but seriously we need to go." He explains and Emi gives out a soft sigh before nodding. "If you say so." With that she clicks her tongue and pats Takumi on the neck. "You heard your friend, Goldy. Yipp yipp!" She demands from her golden dire and the Tokota gives out a soft hum before starting to run. Branches crack under his giant paws and leaves get blown away. Rickan leans himself a bit more on Emi to sit save and to keep himself and her on the dire's back. Emi just smiles and leans into the hug, just happy to have her friend back.

They run for quite a while, when suddenly there is a strange blue light in the distance. First it is just a dot. Then Rickan and Emi realize the shape of a bear. "What is a polar bear doing out here in the forest? They should only live around the coast." The dwarf lady mutters but her friend has no answer. Suddenly, as if he would have been hit by a tree branch Rickan feels a hit in his stomach and gets thrown out of the saddle. With a low thumb he lands on the ground, catching air. Immediately Emi pulls at Takumi's rein and makes the golden dire stop. "Oh god, Rickan. Are you okay?" She yells and Takumi turns around to walk towards Rickan. But the dire stops in shock, when he feels something strange in the air. A presence. The polar bear appears again, its pelt unnaturally glooming in a bluish white light. "Get away from him!" Emi yells, when the bear walks towards Rickan. The blond man lifts his head, still groggy from the fall and looks right into the bears shining white eyes. And then he feels something boiling inside. Heat seems to emit from him, covering his skin and every muscle of his body. "No.." He mutters softly and closes his eyes. "I don't want to... please." Rickan mutters softly and opens his eyes to look at his hands. His fingers pulsate and he can feel them transmorphing. "No. No. No. No. No. Please." He lifts his head, when he feels to hands on his shoulders and he looks into Emi's eyes. "Calm down, Rickan. Everything will be alright. Keep it down. You can do it!" She chants franticly, panicing because of the pained look in her lover's face. Then Rickan can see the head of the bear looming over her and his eyes piercing into his. Rickan can hear Takumi howling and roaring behind the bear. There are noises that sound like the golden dire is fighting against something but he can not see. He can not see at all. His vision turns completely white.

Rickan can not tell what happened next. When he opens his eyes again he tastes blood on his tongue. He can feel it dripping from his chin, warm and oozing. Immediately cooling in the night air. His vision slowly clears and he sees Takumi in front of him, hit by a strange unnatural blue light. The golden dire seems afraid and angry, showing his teeth and growling at him. His fur standing up in an aggressive stance. Why? Why is his friend growling at him? The fear is so unlikely of him. Rickan turns his head and looks to his side. There is the polar bear, glowing in a ghostly white-bluish light, calm now and strangely small. Was the bear that small before? It seems content. As much as a bear can have an expression. Rickan tries to touch his lips, to get the disgusting taste of blood from it. But then he feels it. These are not his fingers. It is a paw. And that aren't his lips. It is a snout. Rickan turned back into Lord Schnee. He is a dire again. Why? Why wasn't he allowed to stay human just a little longer? He just wanted to enjoy to hug Emi a little longer. Wait... Emi? Oh god Emi! Where is she?

It slowly dawns on Lord Schnee and in pure shock he turns his head downwards. The first thing he sees is the blood on the ground. Then a white pale hand. Pictures of the woman in the forest house come to his mind. The scars across her face and arms. Claw marks. Bite marks. From a giant wolf. Did he...? When Rickan finally turns his eyes down to the ground under him he immediately starts yelping and steps back. There she is. His beloved Emi. Lying in her own blood. Wounded by what seems a bite. The bite marks matching his own mouth. Oh god, what had he done?
