I like the expression in her face as well, I was going to make the background blue, but decided against it.

Hm, was it done in layers? If so just try filling the bottom layer with blue and a transparent top layer with blue, and see how it looks.

No problem, and even though I'm sure they're easy, I think I saw a nice PSP tutorial on water bubbles that looks really nice
