More on the topic of memymine.deviantart.com/art/De… . After I liked how her dress turned out I decided to explore this aesthetic further. I've also thought more about how their magic works.

So here's some info on this guy:

He is forbidden from wielding weapons. As in, objects whose design purpose is to be a weapon.
The symbol of his power are the numerous sets of wings.
The wings are otherworldly creatures with the rest of their body being incorporeal. They normally hover around or perch onto him and can appear as if they're part of his body or clothing.
He draws his magic from the otherworld that the wings normally inhabit.
His magic allows him to infuse beings with life force.
His only offensive capability is to send the wing creatures to attack with sharp claws they sprout. However by distancing them from his body he loses their shielding and the ability to cast until they return. Additionally he is grounded as there's nothing to support him in the air.
He can choose how many of his minions to allocate for each function. Less wings circling him - weaker healing, less armor.

Also this probably makes this class one of those kinds of characters that lose clothing when they do magic and fighting. It wasn't intentional but it's an entertaining thought. Good thing they have some normal clothing on.
